For Fresh BC Fruit, Local Produce and More

Once upon a time, sternwheelers and tugs navigated the lakes and rivers of British Columbia. This reminder of BC's marine history has been mostly washed away in the tides of time.  Sadly, most of the fleets were recycled for scrap, or lost to fire. Through the work of the S.S. Sicamous Marine Heritage Society, and the much needed support of the area's community, these staunch reminders of the past can be brought to life and preserved for future generations.

Marine Heritage

Known as 'The Gateway To The Shuswap', Sicamous lies at the junction of two important lakes, Mara and Shuswap, which lead to its positioning as a hub for the area's timber industry.
